i'm looking to purchase a full stand alone engine management system in the near future. i basically am looking fo opinions on which is the best for the money. i have shopped around a little and found that perfect power has 3 units rangig from 700-1300 bucks. and also come across a microtech pretty cheap. any thoughts or concerns about these units, or any others that i haven't mentioned. oh yeah the car is a 89 325i with a 94 m50 in it now. the reason i want to go the stand alone is i am planning on turboing it shortly and would rather be well prpared for tuning ahead of time.
