Who watched Friday practice at Singapore? At the moment I am watching it (DVR'd) and I have a mixed opinion about this new circuit. The positives: stunning to watch at night and it's pretty apparent a big chunk of change was spent to develop this track which winds through a southern part of the downtown area. The part of the track which cuts under the grandstands is very cool too. The downside: I don't see a lot of good places for passing to occur. Despite having more room to work with than Monaco, I'm worried this is race might turn into a procession of carbon fiber and gleaming paint.

We may see another good result for Toro Rosso then, but I think it will be a crazy race regardless. Ferrari has said their wet weather issues are behind them but this race may show if that is true or not.

Singapore weather forecast: Rain very likely. Vijay Mallay (owner of Force India team) used to live there. He says, "you don't have to pray for rain, it just comes." Locals say it rains nearly every night in the city-state.

I am seriously thinking that BMW-Sauber may be in contention for number 2 in the Manufacturer's Championship. We'll see.
I think Kimi has just been really unlucky in most of his performances, from his engine exploding at least twice, to his exhaust breaking, to him just pushing the chassis past its limits in the wet(shown in Monaco and Monza).
As for BMW, I think that will only happen if they can get some consistency. I mean it seems whenever one driver is good the other is bad.

    Oh yeah and Vettel=#1!
oath.. but apparently Kimi woke up the day after a race in the gutter with a paper bag over his head! :borg: i think not.
