I have a story like that.
Right after Dale sr died I went up to charlotte to visit a friend who drives in NASCAR and other circuts. He had a broken collar bone and was obviously down. He and his roomate my brother and I hopped into my rental car to go to dinner. (Kobe steakhouse) And he proceeded to drive the piss out of it. I was in the front seat screaming with my Brother in back laughing (he has known this guy forever and has seen worse). He flatspotted all four of my tires for fun. I though I was so screwed but upon returning the car the rental people didn't say anything. My brother has soooo many stories about this guy. I have never been so scared and still felt so safe in my entire life! It is amazing what some of these drivers can do with a car.
              Yours truly,
              Rich

when my dad worked at pacific BMW he and his co workers used to race the , excuse me i mean test drive the customer cars. Well one of the mechanics has several race cars including a shelby fastback and for fun would cut people from the inside while drifting at about 70 (back in the early 90's) and did this one day in a customers e34 m5 while racing and m6. She spooked the m6 and the m6 flipped on to forest lawn and knocked over a few headstones. needles to say the customer and the boss was not too happy. But they did not get fired.

ive always wondered how race drivers drive their daily drivers. I bet Schumacher driving like that is less dangerous than 25% (exaduration) of drivers doing the speed limit. i know its safer than driving with my grandparents while they do 5 mph under (no exaduration)

just because the taxi man got EU$100 tip, mine as well he blows a 'great' story,
who knows he would be interviewed on tv an probably changes his destiny of being a cab driver to a celebrity ;)

i don't think schumacher would put his family at risk by driving like hell.
