well, im 18, have had 3 promotions and 3 raises, am making pretty good pay, and getting good hours at this job. how else can an 18 year old afford such a car? :-?
and btw, about 90% of the store called out "sick" so i came in to help them out. i had to push carts through the snow because lazy people leave them everywhere and if i didnt do it the plows couldnt get into the lot so more lazy asses could in tommorrow.
so LOL all you want :)Comment

The ix models are a complete conundrum to me..
A car that is literal perfection in snow..
..and at the same time, a car remarkable enough for me NOT to want to drive in winter (if I had one)(there being only ‘so many’ and knowing what salt does)
Fuck. An e30ix w/ blizakks is something I dream about..
Lucky fucker.. but (at the same time) thank you for sharing ‘old-cult-snow-car-with-renowned-snow-tire experience’.Comment

To be honest, it doesn't look that bad in the pictures. Looks like an average winter here.
One year, it dumped about 3-4 feet of powder overnight. We took are blazer out with 4-wheel on and could here the skid plate underneath packing the snow down. We left 2ft. deep tire tracks with a flat packed section in the middle. It was hilarious!
I'm used to snow though. Lived in it all my life, snowmobiled for several years and now I snow board. Hell, by birthday is in February, so I learned to drive in the snow and took my drivers test in icy conditions.
I love the snow...Comment

i know its an average storm, but its my first real snow storm with my ix. ive never driven it in something like that before. as for driving an ix in the winter.......as rare as the car is....hiding it from snow just seems cruel to me. these cars are snow horny :oComment
