My T3 vs. my T4!! Question and Pics

I got this fully T4 and I'm swapping it right now.

The back is A/R 100, the turbine (or vaines size) arent't messure yet, but tomorrow will do that and will psot here making the marks in each turbo to diffrence both in sizes.

T3/T4 in the Left and the New One , Fully T4 on the right!

The T3/T4 at simple "eye" or "look" the blades or turbine is a bit smaller than the fully T4 even when both has T4 front Compressors with .60 A/R, tomorrow I will messure it and post then here.

    T3/T4

    T4

A side Note, could someone tell what type of front compressor I have in the New T4? I'm not sure if that is "H" or "M" model/code housing type, cuz the older is "B" trim.....

anyways, what are the advantages or downs?

    Thanks

So your turbine housing a/r is 100?
With this new turbo you can tell it will spool up later just by the pics alone.

        Larger turbine housing:
Produces more air to the engine per engine rpm

Provides more horsepower potential but less low end torque

Results in slower spool-up and increased turbo lag

Do you have the full specs?

I know I know...lag will be my enemy now, i don't care...no, i don't ahve the specs on it, I got that Turbo for $102 Remanufactured for Volvo, all new I think.

Like I said in my post will messure all the things to compare both...

I think the last turbo is good enough.
You have SMT6 now right? The only thing this bigger turbo lets you do is run more boost this time, but the main thing holding you back in the first place was tuning.

The turbo I'm going to order has an exhaust housing a/r of .82, which should be good to run 18 lbs. of boost if I wanted too. I don't know how this thing will turn out :P

                Diego,
I hate to be the one to tell you that that turbo is a horrible choice! It's for a constant rpm diesel motor in some sort of equipment. Your tiny little 2.5L will never sppol that turbine with the huge a/r and likely "P" trim turbine. We wouldn't even use something that big on our 3.4Ls.
                Sorry,

"P" trim? what is that? what Trim I have, "M" or "H"? cannot see the difference...

a side note, skatanic(Alex) has a friend who dropped a T4 with .80 AR int he front a A/R 100 in the back on a eta stock and says that the eta move that huge turbo with out major problems.

I don't know about Skat325is' friend but your motor will NOT push that turbine with a 1.00! You'll be lucky to see full boost at 4000rpm.
