    The engine does, certainly. Brilliant power plant with loads of untapped potential.

    Shame about what it comes attached to though.

        Steve Dinan said BMW designed with to many "flaws" to fully extract the power. The fluid dynamics are just all wrong and makes it unreliable to have more than $450hp.

          That depends on who you ask. A friend of mine who organizes a few track events each year has been driving a 335i coupe for a while now and his biggest gripe is how it goes into "limp home" mode once the temps climb too high while on the track. Very frustrating since this often happens before the timed session is over - thus limiting his seat time for the day. That issue aside, he seems to be pretty happy with the car.

          In the twin-turbo six's defense, it is a motor with a lot of tuning potential and I'm sure we will be witnessing some impressive output figures as tuners have their fun with them. However, I think it needs to be thoroughly de-bugged before turning up the wick a few notches.
