528i steering rack?

Found a 98 528i w/ 75k, for $7500obo; says it needs a new steering rack how hard is it to put in as easy as our cars? How much harder?

The way things are packaged together for the steering rack on those cars is different than the E30. Some of the hardware may be a bit more challenging to access but its not impossible. I think there may be something posted on the BMW DIY site on how to do it.
