I think four doors are a fair amount uglier than two door models.

2 doors have super heavy doors that get shaky at best with old age...my 4door felt like a brand new german car, SOLID. every 2door i have been in felt like what it is...a 16+yr old car...

I dont think its ghey but I dont buy into the 4 doors being stiffer either. In some cars it might apply since there are chassis changes but since our cars are sedans there is a B-pillar no matter what.

The best looking 4-door E30 is a touring.

Sometimes I wouldn't mind having a two door as well, but I prefer the chunkier C-pillars on the four door.

Despite having rear doors however, rear leg room is still pretty negligible....

i personally think 4 door e30s look better... one of the few cars that i think that on.... usually i always like 2 door better

Please don't get offended, but the only two-door e30 I like is the M3. There are some nice two door non-M e30's, but they still look strange and unbalance. Performance wise if it setup well in terms of performance I’ll respect it regardless. Personally, I would never own a two door non-M. Overall, I prefer the four doors due to a more balance profile. With the four doors, the car is more symmetrical. The front and rear fenders provide symmetry, along with all four doors being equal in terms of length. I love how the B-pillar on the four doors is just about right smack in the middle of the chassis. In addition, I see the thicker C-pillar as an added bonus.
