    Highway mileage less strain not much stop and go driving, I would imagine if you vary the engine speed more you will see 400K. Is Kansas as flat as we think? Never been there so I have no referance, last X-Country drive I did was the southern route. Miserable in AZ in the day.

          i should be at 300k on monday i will take a pic with the speedo at 125mph, just for good measure. I think i found my replacement, a 2001 bmw 325it 5spd w/53k, blk/tan 18" ac schnitzers and stainless catback for $8500.

              Made it!
              Check it:

              Had to buy a battery halfway through the day, just to make it happen. Battery was from 2000 that was in it, Diehard!

                My M42 went without trouble to 235k, when the guides wore out. It didn't DIE then, but the guides needed replacing. Someone bought it and threw it in a 2002.
