    Speeding

Im sure many of you have heard of wreckedexotics.com, but I ran across this Evo IV that met its match hitting a bus at 75mph. I don't think I need to say much after showing the picture(s).

Mitsubishi Starion..or at least it was...

BMW (I think an E36 Sedan)

I am presuming this is a Delta Integrale

Speed does not kill. Driving like a moron or breaking the laws of physics does.

Word. Our roads are engineered for greater speeds than most states allow. Our interstate loop is designed for safer travel with good cars than 55. I had to visit my mom in the hospital and was comfortably cruising without drama at 110.

It's being a jackass in traffic, on blind corners, or with a rust bucket with bad brakes or stoddy handling that kills. Not giving enough time to slow down, or being aware of your situation that makes accidents.

p.s. You can't break the laws of physics, the laws of physics break you! ;)

True, but it is a factor and sometimes it can be the deciding one.

It CAN be but more accurately only about 5% of wrecks can be attributed to speed. More likely its inattentive or agresive driving that causes it. Now doing excessively higher speeds in traffic can be dangerous because it lowers the time you can react to someone else.

The deaths per mile on the autobahn are lower and it has nothing to do with the cars. The rules are simple; they ticket inattentive driving and following too closely heavily and if you are traveling excessively faster in a wreck you are found guilty.
                    Im now E30less.

Disagree, the only people who break the laws of physics are people like Einstein.

People who drive too fast end up in accidents, people who drive too slow cause them.

acutally no one breaks the laws of physics, if we are getting technical.

however some people are better at finding the limit than others.

Nobody breaks the laws of nature. The laws of physics being man made are not always perfectly accurate, as people like Einstein occasionally prove by rewriting them.

uh, the laws of physics are man-made? that's interesting, I always thought the laws of physics existed before humans... ;)
