      you dont need an aftermarket lock, the dealer can get you an OEM lock w/key cut for your VIN number. Shouldn't be pretty straight forward if you have proof of ownership.

          I know the history of that car up until I sold it. In addition, I know exactly what the car was doing since I sold it 3 years ago.... It's been sitting there doing nothing. literally. The X-bf who bought the car stole the keys 3 years ago and moved to california. The car has been sitting there ever since. It's pretty disgusting, but I know i can get it fired up pretty quickly without a problem and just give it a quick detail...


          I can't wait till the spring!!! Man what a rush it was to see it again for the first time in years. All the memories came back to me. it was amazing.

          You're right, it is real practical.

          I'm going to have the guy sign the title over to me and i'll go to BMW. I'm 100% the ignition has not been changed... or the car would have been sitting for 3 years.

          I know there are problems with a car that has been sitting, but I can take care of it. No problem. This is so fucking awesome (fawesome)
