    Stock?

Does anybody keep their cars stock anymore? If so some pics would be nice.

Some individuals on the board have stock cars. Since this is an enthusiast there exists a disproportionate amount of modded cars.

why would you want to keep your car completely stock? unless maybe it was an M3, it's not going to be worth anything, especially if you drive to 200,000 miles like any E30 can. otherwise, standard E30s sit like a 4x4, come wtih rediculously small wheels/tires, HUUUGE chrome bumpers if you're unlucky enough to own those years, and aren't exactly rockets either.

oh yeah, the stock suspension would also be totally worn out by now. :P

well with our cars, there are a lot of things that will need to be replaced over the years, and I think its counter productive to just 'fix' stuff, knowing that OEM fixes will fail again. It makes much more sense to take advantage of the maintenance requirements to use better developed aftermarket parts that will not only work better, but last longer. Besides, its an e30, even stock e30 M3s are fairly mundane

thanks. i was just curious since i'm buying an e30 soon. i don't know how much i am gonna want to change. i will change the suspension for sure and maybe wheels, but i don't think i will do too much to the body. maybe black kidneys. who knows? i guess i'll just see what i like.

Isn't Ken's 318 stock? That is one clean car, looks like its right off the showroom floor.

Mine started as a thirst to get rid of the huge diving board bumpers, then I went insane.

Every car I have owned there has been something about the car I didnt like so I changed it, once you realize how easy it is to change things you do it more often.
                            Im now E30less.

The engine is completely stock. I've added a few aesthetic modifications to the car such as leather boots, leather wheel, analog clock, leather brake handle and shift knob, 'smoked' turn signals and parking lights, european grilles and ellips, rear headrests.

                              I've also added a Z4 lever:

I'll be adding euro bumpers and an M-Tech I front airdam soon. I have them sitting at my house.
