My dad was driving the vert to Autozone to get a thermostat, this Asian girl who was going to graduation nailed him from behind. She said she hadn't slept all night and fell asleep at the wheel or something. Here's the pics.





What are the odds of it being totalled?

Yeah dude, I think insurance is going to total that baby. Is the car in good condition? If so, see if you can buy it back for 2-3K and then part it out. May put you behind the wheel of a newer, nicer cab.

That is definetly totaled.prt the bitch.The top looks like its in rough shape but should fetch about $400-500 with the frame and release mechanisms if manual.Power tops are worthless.You can spend thousands and they will never work right..Seats if in good shape $500 for all.gotta love the convertible stitching.Fenders/doors at $100 a pop. and the rest is at regular e30 prices.Should clear $3000

The vert top frame is bent, I have the only E30 vert in the world with VINYL seats, the interior peices are kinda rough. I wouldn't get much parting it out. The motor is strong, the front end is totally revamped, but other than that, the rest is worthless...

How much should the insurance company give me for this car? 4500?

most likely totaled. They totaled my 89' 325i in good shape for small damage. See pictures. I bought my car back for $400 bucks. I'm having the car fixed right now.

Front bumper on my car was fine re-useable. Took the left headlight the aux fan and a new left fender.
