i saw a S50 with tranny for sale for $3000 somewhere. i forget where at the moment and i'm drunk, so remembering is not gonna happen.

for the OP. I vote for a M50 variant. M30's are heavy, and not as "lively" as M50 motors.

BTW, for all you M30 lovers, I have a carbon airbox on my 3.8L M5... the sound it makes is better than nutting in that strippers ass you've been eyeballing since you turned 21!!!

i miss it too, my friend is borrowing it until he PCS's to the states in a few weeks.

God the sound this thing makes to 7k it unbelievable!

I've ridden in some 325's that are done up by ring racing and they are very capable. while not M3 fast they are still in for a good time. For me it's what i'm going for on the ring machine since it gives a bit more power than a stock M20, is lighter than the M30, and is reliable.

INMO the M20 is enough motor to get a inexperienced driver in a world of shit when the right corner comes up. with all your ITB cash, go to a driving school and fix the nut behind the wheel, trust me, it's worth it!

Jesse, I have a ITB setup off of an S38b36...

GOOD choice on the M30 decision.
If you need some mounts, let me know... I just need a couple more people.

Edit my previous post... the ITB setup I have is available for purchase.

OR if you opt for M30b35 parts, I may be pulling mine here shortly
