Driving in the fog?

    FYI, last week there was a 70-car pile up down here in Florida because of thick fog and I think some smoke covering the road. At least 4 people died and a bunch were injured.

    I dont really consider people who drive "fast" in poor visabilty conditions to be skillful or cool, considering you could very well cause a bad accident that not many would be able to see.

      also, dont have your brights on in fog....thast what fog lights are for. turning ur brights of reflects the light back into your eyes...so you have even less visabilty.

        I was going 62 mph in 3-5 ft vis and hit a deer and crashed my truck in a tree. I was able to save a tail light, and rear license plate holder.

          That fog pictured is no 20ft visibility. Try triple. You can even see an oncomming car 1/4 mile down the road.

            Agreed, even 20' visibility is scary. I've been in some nasty fog locally here, but not less than probably 10', maybe a little more. I couldn't see a damn thing ahead of me, and the lines on the road disappeared almost immediately.
