    Suspension Upgrades?

Im going to Bavarian Autosport tommorow to get my new suspension. I'm looking for some feedback on some the extra's im thinking of getting.Just to let you know im looking to setup a streetable car for mostly summer driving, and maybe seeing the auto-x or track once ayear or so. I know im getting the BavAuto performance springs and Bilstiein Sport shocks. The other things Im looking at are Swaybar kits they have both Eibach and Racing Dynamics, The things im really up in the air about are the Aluminum/Urethane rear upper shock mounts or just replacement one's and the rear upper strut bar.
Will thoes last 2 items make alot of difference and which sway bar kit is better or are they about the same? they have the same size bars (22mm front,16mm rear).

    Thanx

    bav auto springs are uesless.

id stick with eibachs or H&R's, youll be much MUCH happier.

urethane bushings won't make a huge difference, except making your rear suspension much more solid. it doesn't really hurt anything though.

Bav Auto springs are not what I would consider an upgrade.

They are soft, and they will sag on you.

Bav auto springs are soft. I rode in a friends IC with bav auto spring and it was no were as stiff as my racing dynamic springs. Great for just driving around but not for the corners.

Ok thanx for all your input i guess ill be going with the Eibach's then. My Brother in law has had them on his 85 GTI since like 90-92 and had only 1 problem with them about 2 years ago when 1 of them broke but they replaced it no problem.

I hope you aren't thinking the Eibach Pro Kit. Its just as bad as the Bav Auto springs.

Yes, go with the H&R. One problem in two years with a spring is one problem too much. Its just coiled steel so there should be NO problems.

I havent tried the urethane shock mounts yet. i have the urethane subframe bushings and REALLY like thier effect but am currently only running the E46 M3 cabrio RSMs.
                Im now E30less.

I'v noticed that some people have just switched to M3 springs and Bilstien shocks. How would this compare to the Eibach pro's and bilstiens. I already have bilstien HD's on the car.
