i voted for 2 because if i could get mtec 2 i would. But because i drive an 87, mtec 1 would be what i actually would get. although, if i had a crapload o $$$ i would go for 2, so that got my vote.

Can't say as I own both at the moment, now. I like the older due to raw style but I like the new due to it looks modern and not 80's. That said I'll just have to do one of each her in the US.

My new to me touring has a M-tech II front on it. I got it due to my M tech I car is starting to get series cancer, in areas I won't bother to fix. It will be a parts car soon. I did get a replica chip for it of a Alpina copy from a buddy over there, so I cant wait to try it.

If I had an 87 and older = Mtech I
For 88 and up = Mtech II

Mtech I looks more aggressive to me since not too many cars of that era were "mean" looking...

Mtech 1 as I find it to be classier and more unique than the Mtech 2.
Mtech 2 has become overplayed imho... fake knock offs, etc. Granted you do not see them in person very often, but they are still prevalent.

Mtech 1 on the other hand is rare, sexy, unique, and the holy grail of factory body kits IMHO.

I'll have one once I find a chassis worth installing it onto.

Nice shots Chris, who's car is that? I looks like my old 320i in Delphin. I have those exact wheels and love em way to much, seems I'm obessed with them. Must have, must have.

It looks like it's up for sale?? Future source of parts?

If that car was here in the USA and for sale, I'd sell my car in an instant and buy it.
I found those pictures on e30.de in the back logs of featured cars.
If I'd had more expendible cash, I would have bought that full kit I sent you on Ebay and had that shipped over. But after exchange rates and shipping it would have been $1500 or so.

BTW, do you ever come across the small metal bumpers for 2002's?

Yes on the bumpers. My yard has a 1802 touring and a 2000 ti in it right now.

Hmmm, I do like that M-tech 1 rear deck spoiler. Besides that I like the MT 2 stuff.
