thanks for the tips fellas. things have been much much much worse for me in the past. (like, a month and a half ago, right after the accident.) but things are looking up now, although, im getting sick of the depression and i figured it would get better as i got better, but its not happenin.
some of the things u guys mentioned that i could do are things like get outside and hang out with friends which i have done. i had been cooped up for a little over a month, and most of that time i COULDNT get out. although, once i was able to get up on crutches for a while i started get out more, which helped. 4 days ago i was able to get up and walk some which let a MASSIVE weight off my shoulders. as of today i have my left leg in a brace and im walking with a cane to take some weight off the right leg. so doing things like swimming or hikeing and such are out of the question. although i can do things like... well, just get outside. a few things that have helped me recently were, finnaly graduating and not having to worry about school, getting out and partying, and hanging out with friends (who have been very supportive).
the things that have gotten me down recently are; missing beachweek (which i have been looking forward to for the past 3 years), having a girl i have loved for the past year or so seem to fade away, knowing i have to go back for surgury tuesday and knowing that im not gona be able to walk again for a while after that, (surgry is the reason im missing beachweek) and my family is going through a tough time with money.
so im doing my best to get back to normal, but its gona take some more time.
Just hang in there man things can only go UP from here. All you need is just a lil patience but its okay to let some aggression out every once in a while. If you dont already have one get a ps2 or X-box. Get a pocket bike while your at it, then you wont have to worry about getting around. Oh wait your really tall arent you??? Put skates on then ride it.
Hookup with a girl,,, you know you won´t be depressed then, as you have plenty time go out and work up a strategy to pickup girls,
In your 20´s it´s definitly going to work worth while
I´m sure girls fall for that I´m recovering from a crash,,
Who knows you might end up finding the right one, or the right ones or a few
;)
Just tell the girls you were hurt while riding a really powerful street bike, they will instantly fall for you...
But seriously man, things will get better, find a good friend that doesn't mind hanging out with you even if you're just sitting at your house, company always helps... Keeps your mind from thinking so much.

st john/s wort will throw you deeper into depression. You need to talk to your docter and get a mild anti-depressant like Celexa or Wellbutrin, and first things first, change your daily habits. If you get up late, get up earlier, basically, change up your routine, trust me, when I was going through what was to be a divorce, I felt a lot better after changing my life around
im guessing in 3-4 weeks. although, it may take longer before i have enough mobility in my legs to feel safe enough to do it. like, right now my right knee only bends so much, and it would be almost impossible to get to the brake pedal quickly.

If you're really depressed, then like Ken said, nothing that anyone suggested will help. My girlfriend is clinically depressed and sometimes there is NOTHING I can do to make her better. Sometimes she just stays in bed for a week straight. Medication made her worse, so it's a tough situation to be in. What helps her the most is if I just talk to her, so if you have someone around just to shoot the shit with, you might start to feel a little better. Besides, jacking off is only a temporary solution. After you're done, then what? ;)
