I'm 24. I got my newest E30 after about a month of searching after my last E36 was rear-ended. I'm sure a lot of you since you are young just got an E30 because it is a BMW and it is what you could afford, but I've had several BMW's and the E30 is one of the best and I'd gladly pay more for one than a newer 3 series (actually it will soon be impossible to find a nice one for less than a E36 or E46). The newer ones are pretty poor quality. On the E36 EVERYTHING starts to come apart and I think they just spontaneously dent. They are just not built to last. And I think they are just getting worse. A couple months ago I was standing outside the Hollywood, CA Holiday Inn and an E90 335i was waiting to pull out (didn't even have plates yet) and a 90's chevy cavilier or something lightly scraped the front corner of it at about 1mph and totally mangled the corner of the fender and the side of the bumper came off and the entire headlamp assembly became lodged in the other car's wheel well. The other car was completely undamaged. I couldn't believe it. My friend and I stood there with our jaws dropped. I was like, "What a piece of fucking crap!! How can BMW make such shitty cars!!"

                  2. I have no camera because I sold it to improve my car. I would trade my girlfriend if someone had some CSL's for sale.
                  3. I am also a douche valve when it comes to stupid people asking stupid questions, so I feel as though I will fit right in here

Blunt - I 2nd the cav. Not only are they built like a straw hut - the don't depreciate! Ever! It will be worth the same in 10 years as the day it drove off the lot.

Wow, what a piece of junk. Imagine if the guy had been driving a 1964 Lincoln Continental. The car would have been fine, maybe just some chipped paint. And hey, the driver might have been pretty sore, but at least the car would have been intact. That's what really matters. They just don't make 'em like they used to.

Back when I was a whippersnapper, I ran my neighbor over in my Continental, and he was deader than a doornail. The other day, I tried to run over the guy pushing the carts at the grocery store, but the hood just bent up, the bumper crushed in, and the guy was fine.

I rolled my previous 335i, and when it came to a stop at the bottom of the hill, the doors unlocked, the hazards turned on, and a voice came on in the car asking if I was alright. I really don't know what BMW was thinking when they designed the electrical systems in their cars. THE DOORS UNLOCKED! How unsafe is that?! I could have been carjacked! I honestly don't know why I bought another one after I wrecked that one. Never again.

Around here e30s and e36s are pretty simular in price. So no, i bought my e30 because i knew they were good cars and the shape and design is genuinely cool / nicer than the e36. I would rather spend my waffleswaffleswaffles on a e30 than a e36. E36's ( other than a nice manual coupe ) are weak compared to any e30 imo.
