98 RON is equal to 94 PON (US) - higher than I've ever seen in the US

      can anyone verify this?
I dont wanna be cheap on anything, and if i know that I must put in 91, then that's not a problem.
But if I know that 91 is not necessary, i would just use the lower octane gas.

No. You will be nice to your engine. You will run at least 91. Understand?

Is this enough verification for you?

oh im not doubting you or anything..
But if thats the case, it suprises me that everyone puts in a 91.

So you use a 87 on your car?

I've used 87. It was pinging too much so I went back to 91. It's only a $2 difference for a full tank so I just use the 91.

My fuel filler door states premium gas only, so thats what I ran before I had my chip.
