Sorry, that's bullshit and you know it.
If he sees one in person he would have more room to talk than just being a commando on the keyboard being a critic of the world's automobiles. I argued against people who said the new 5er was ugly, based solely on looking at pics online but I rather liked them in person or driving a 545i without a throttle body.

And if he knew anyone with one maybe he's appreciate the reality that everyone does not see cars the way he does (E30 is the BCE...)

shut up tool. everyone and their sister has seen or ridden or driven a corvette. The concept is not unique or hard to understand.

In addition to criticizing the looks of a car he has never seen in person that is meant to stand out and make a statement like art, he criticizes the engineering as well which was part of the reason I laughed.

Now Josh and Patrick, if you want to simplify things and compare two highly different cars for highly different purposes, while neither being engineers and dropping out of universities, so be it, but i'm LOL'ing.

Are you implying that the appeal of the veyron is harder to understand than the corvette? Does it now take an engineer to appreciate the veyron?

You're not an engineer and you aren't finished with college yet - so STFU. You're just an errand boy.

If by interesting you mean he presents poor arguments and is way too proud of being in college - yes he is interesting.

I'm saying directly a Bugatti is not a vehicle that can be measured by words and numbers like a corvette. The corvette and cars built on its engine (Aero and Mosler) are about numbers and performance. The Veyron may not be astounding by records anymore, or by hp/liter but that's not its purpose or intent. An engineer may not be a fan of a veyron or maybe they would like the new creative aspects of it, but at least they have more grounding to base an opinion of engines than "This is fucking stupid... the other car is fast with a V8".

*shrug* Just because I'm not an engineer doesn't mean I'm not equally capable of talking cars with them because of background and experience. Or else I wouldn't be teaching them about cars in my class.

Here's where your astounding arrogance shines through - you automatically assume that you have such a wealth of background and experience - all the while assuming that no one else shares the same. Just because you do some HPDEs in your POS e30 doesn't make you an expert of any variety.

Nah, but I'm in a minority of people who have ever enrolled in traditional colleges AND have had experience in vocational automotive training...

Sorry champ - being a porter isn't what I'd call automotive training.
