Clean your windows first, then wipe down the inside of your windshield with vinegar. Make sure you clean off as much of the streaks as possible. Problem solved.
Fix your heater, AC and blower and enjoy them while your friends driving to the track bake in the hot sun. :)
That's the plan, but it won't be overnight before I source all the needed parts to install heater/blower/a/c back into the car.... I don't know if any/all of a/c components can be mixed and and matched between various e30 years/models.
The blower works fine, but it takes awhile. However, I don't have a heater, so when it's literally 6 degrees outside, which it just was, I have to turn on the blower full blast for about 2-5 mins for the window to defrost fully, then keep it at half power to keep it clean.
And I have an aluminum shift knob, lucky me. In the winter it's the greatest way to get your hand stuck on it, and in the summer it's the greatest way to erase your fingerprints. :D
both AC and heat does it for me.... except the other day when it was unworldly foggy. It took a little wiping.. Texas has had some insane weather lately-foggy as London one day, 85 mph winds the next few days.
