Where can I find one of these???

I highly doubt its a state issued 'european style' license plate. I've searched all over and no luck.

I saw a german plate with CA registration tags on it a while back, and was trying to figure out how to get one to no avail...

I'm also interested in figuring this out.

LOL if you guys really want to know... they are made in Mexico. A buddy of mine is working on getting a few sets. They custom make them with your plate number of course... but I still think you'd get pulled over by a cop if you come across the wrong one.

Is that even legal? That may be a DMV question. Very trick though.

I've seen a handfull of those EU style Texas plates over the years dating back 15 years or more .

I always though the owner just had a custom style EU replica plate mase to represent the Tx plate with their real plate number .

But after seeing that Volvo one now ....it kinda seems like it could be state issued .

I think you just rub vinegar on your plate, and it shrinks to that size. ;)

Don't think Virgina would buy off on that tag. Very cool thou, but I could see the Commonwealth's finest frowning.

I have hear of guys in CA getting the old CA black with yellow lettering plates from a junk yard, and then going to the DMV and getting a personalized plate to match the old numbers.

Usually see that with guys restoring old cars to get the plate to looks like it was original.

Don't know why I am sharing that...

That would be pretty sick if states issued plates that size, especially for European cars that have the euro-sized plate area at the rear.

Wait for the owner to come out and ask them in a tactiful way.
