USGP Picture Thread - 56K killer - *UPDATED: RACE PICS*

    WILLIAMS F1

    Shot of Ferrari racing past.

Ferrari is too fast to catch on camera!

I think that I got real lucky, and was good with panning to capture the BMW and Ferrari F1 cars racing like that. If you want pictures without hosting addresses, ask me.....if anyone likes them or whatever. :P maybe.

    Practice photos.

The kick ass TVs for the people on spectator hills.

I believe some other members are going to USGP, as another thread said, all with their camera. While they are in hotels, I am at home, resting comfortably......or maybe they are camping out - Charlie. Hopefully they will post their pictures when they get home, but here are mine, from Friday at least. Except anyone that traveled to be back Monday or Tuesday.

E30s at the Hoosier BMW Corral.

I can email this picture larger, if so desired.

interesting M3 - that capsule behind seats, and covering on hood.

Z8. Hopefully I'll get a ride this weekend.

    Hot E34.

    Our corral tent.

    Museum parking lot.

    Infield parking lot.

Foul! Racing seats and Forgeline wheels in an AUTOMATIC!!!!! From New Jersey.

    Saturday!

The Porsche Supercup Race 1. I love GT3's. These are a mix of race laps and some caution laps.

    Mercedes pace car.

    Hey, look at this car!

Oops! Spun out, into the grass.

Using the crane to get one of several wrecks off the road. :?

A visit from a previous year's BMW Formula car.

    Breyton wheels, Brembo brakes. 8)

    With standard transmission, Kris. ;)

    My uncle's Restored 2002.

    Dinner time!

    Another M coupe for Ken.

    And another!

A cool guy's silver M3, him and a hot babe, and some dude and his yella M3.

Can't say diddley squat about BMW's F1 Team. It was supposed to be their best effort yet and yet it's the worst.

Michael would have won all races if he hadn't been knocked out at Monoco.

Great pics Robert! It looks like the BMW contingency showed up in full force. Lotsa cars...both old and new. I hope to make a trip to Indy one year to witness F1 in person.

        Thanks for sharing :D

Or, his dad's M3. Those are the Ely's from Hickory, NC. I thought that Dakar looked familiar. Looks like a good time, too bad Williams didn't fare so well.

LOL. Yeah, he seemed a little young, but in love with 'his' M3. I saw he was from NC, and wondered if anyone here knew him. He has it up for sale, $24K.

Ken, I am glad you are enjoying that picture. YOU SHOULD HAVE HEARD THEM! Damn, so awesome, wish my sister hadn't of dropped our digital camera with vid/mic.

              Race Pictures:

I got a Season Pass, with admission Friday, Saturday, and walk-about Sunday. Walking around the infield and outside the road-course turns was awesome. I got pictures from many different corners, and about 10 feet from the barrier, instead of being stuck in a seat somewhere. This pass only cost $60 too, for all weekend. It was sweet, as was the Supercup races, and Formula BMW.....so I hear, did not see them actually.

              The winners

Some random fan.....partied too hard. :P

BMW Club member's car - Weston would like the wheels.

Pictures from the Car show on the other part of the Oval, I checked out before the USGP:

I have some more pictures from the car show, maybe about 10, but WTDR is maxed out right now. LOL.

Camera was some pretty affordable Fuji FinePix A210 digital, with 3.2MP (shot all race in 1MP because I currently only have 16MB memory card......) and 3X optimal zoom.
