Also you can guarentee when you get something from the dealership you don't have to worry about quality. I heard that all parts are factory tested and they have warrenties. I have had parts that didn't work or broke easily and they happely exchanged them with no questions asked

I dont post false information, to put myself in a position like the OP. And "At your dealer", assuming they tell you. Its "at my work" where I can check for myself.

I never assumed dealers are a rip off, THEY ARE, and that's where I stand on that. You don't agree, then get lost. I couldn't care less.

10% higher than aftermarket, you probably shop at sacks on fifth avenue in NYC buddy, because my parts (and I only buy German made parts) are much cheaper than dealer prices and they are the same quality (because made by the same companies)

What's actually funny is that you will even admit that 2 out of your 3 techs are incompetent and then you have the gutts to say that not all dealers are a rip off. You are just a joke.

Anyways, if I want to complain about something, this is my right. I mentioned in my first post that it was a matter of principles more than a matter of price itself and I certainly never said I was going to waste hours of my time to save $10 (Yes, my time is more valuable than that)

try $675 shop cost for a cv axle on a mk4 jetta. Then talk to me.
Oh and @ $380 for a 120 amp alternator, shop cost as well.
I shelled it out without any questions. And you complain about adjusters???? Come on. Man up, buy the parts or buy zip ties. I spent 80 pucks on my adjusters and grommets, my e codes are awesome. Money well spent in my opinion.
