Getting my car tinted tomorrow... what % ?

So Im getting the car tinted tomorrow. Mainly so that the car can be kept a little cooler on sunny days, and keep the interior out of the sun. I dont think that the black-window-look will look that great on the e30s.

anyways, im thinking of getting all my windows (minus windshield) tinted 50%.

Anyone with the same color e30 have window tinting?

opinions and suggestions are appreciated !

    50% is like nothing

I got my fronts done 30% and the 3 rear done 15-20%

Tara has a DS 318iS like yours and is getting 30% (darkest legal here) all the way around. Some tint colors are more natural to black (while others have a greenish tint) so make sure you know which one you're getting on a black car or it will look like ass.

You gotta regret it if you'll take the 50% tint
do like nameisbradgreen said : 30% front 15% rear

btw: other people don't see any valuable stuff on your backseat

I personally think 15% is too dark. I like being able to see at night! plus it looks ghetto IMO.. I'd go with the lowest legal amount, which usually around 30%.

I'd rather have matching dark as shit tint than combination. I dont thinkg different percentages look right, unless you do all 4 side windows one % and the rear another

well like i said, im not doing it for looks, more for function. And I dont think that the dark window will look right on my car.
Im going to be tinting all the windows with the same %age tint, so I was thinking either 50% or 35%.

nameisbradgreen, you have any pictures of your car that we can see?

Oh and im taking the car to a place where i already have gotten couple cars tinted, so im not worried about the quality of their tinting or their work.

                go as dark as legal.

As for seeing at night most good tints operate more like a one way mirror. I could see just fine out of my dark as hell 5% and now with 35% during the day I have to compare to the front window to remember I have tint looking out.
                Im now E30less.

well Im used to driving with dark tints (5-15%) so thats not really an issue for me.

I just simply dont want too dark of windows on the car.

as far as "go as dark as legal" goes..... front window tinting is illegal, no matter what percentage... so I cant play with that rule 8)

                        LikeCDoos, your car looks good.

But i think i want my tint to be lighter than that, and even tinting all-around.

Anyone else have pictures of your e30 with tinted windows?

i got the same as weston... a step down from the highest in the back, and a step down from that on the front 2. i like it, it almost gives it a stock look. BTW, i have a d-schwartz car if that helps...

I know these are pretty bad pictures but I think it's limo-tint (15%?) I bought it that way.
                              No tint up front though.
