    I painted my piece of shit bottle caps when I got the car. I painted them with flat black duplicolor wheel coating. It still hasnt peeled off.

        328ijunkie painted his bottlecaps last night. He went with a thick timeatteack red lip and black centers, looked pretty good. I'll snap some pics tonight.

            If you wanted to strip then first, try Easy-Off oven cleaner in the yellow can. It will leave the aluminum tarnished looking, but since you are painting, it doesn't really matter. Spray the stuff on, wait 30 minutes then rinse them off with the hose.
