Truth is, it's not easy to legally carry a gun in most states. You'd be amazed at what hurdles you need to jump through. The people that manage to exercise their right to carry a firearm are not exactly the kind of people you need to be afraid of :idea:sigpic

That definitely gets on my nerves when I go up to visit friends in BC. Everyone LOVES to talk all kinds of shit about big brother USA and most of it is unfounded. There's quite a few reasons more people inhabit the United States.sigpicFormer professional wrench thrower.

Mine was a 10 hour test, written and shooting test. A 6 month waiting period, after passing the test, for the FBI to work up a background check on me, along with 3 sets of finger prints on file. All total costing several hundred dollars.
But in my state it gives me the right to carry concealed or unconcealed and gives me the right to use deadly force if needed. Meaning if my life or anyone else's life is imminent danger. And I can carry in about 30 other states as long as I abide by that states laws when doing so.
Gun bans only keep them out of the law abiding citizens hands. People who are not allowed to legally own a gun will still be able to purchase any ILLEGAL gun they choose to off the streets from their counterparts. :tsk:
