    bent oil cooler

Part #1 is bent, but there's no leak. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...63&hg=17&fg=05

I feel like the oil gets really hot so I was thinking about replacing it with an aftermarket bigger radiator.

Are any made that can fit my car or should I just open one from the junkyard?
on the side note how can I stop the oil from running after disconnecting the lines?

    No pic.
But I would just get one from the JY. I may have one to sell you btw.

There was a diy on repairing oil-coolers somewhere. I'll try to find it.

      edit: hmm, no dice yet.

What do you do to your car that the oil gets really hot? There's very few conditions where a M20 would be in danger of oil temps around 300 degrees.

well if I drive around for like 10 min. the whole engine bay gets really hot...like when you open he hood the heat hits you in the face.
I touched the valve cover and it seemed to be unusually hot as well...so I thought it be a good idea to change the bent radiator.
My water temp gauge is just fine though.

i just mounted it to the radiator, used 22x1.5 fittings for the oil cooler housing, and 10 AN hose

nvm, I forgot the fact that I suck.

PS I should reeeally get some online transaction experience...but I feel somewhat fearful.
It would reeaally help me out if I did though...a side from risk it kinda seems complicated as well. more reason to just say f* it.
