Picture of the sunroof drain pipe

Does anybody have a picture showing the sunroof drain on the front/passenger side ? I am thinking the noise I am hearing has got to be something in that area as it's not my dash/suspension/battery/glovebox/ecu...

I haven't removed sunvisor/headliner to see if that's where the noise is coming from but it's been really hard to pin point it.

They run down each " A " pillar in the fron and " C " pillars in the rear and drain out the underside of the car in the wheel well areas. Each tube is probably 1/2" in size or so.

Not sure but they run down inside of the pillars. If you open your sunroof up and look in each front corner you will see the hole where the water drains down the tubes. Probably will not see the rears that easily.

is it just a rattle/vibration noise? my front ceiling trim panel (with the check lights, visors, sunroof crank) vibrates sometimes - it could be something related to those components. I would check that area before going all way down to the sunroof, I had a hell of a time reinstalling my headliner. I ended up with a few small rips.

jean....im pretty sure the 84 was different than the 85 drain wise....if you lift your side carpet where the battery well on late models is you will see a plastic thing....normally a hose goes to it....but in 84's im pretty sure they are like under where the fuel take is "under the rear seat" thats where it drains to

I'll have to pull the front headliner/sunvisor covering tomorrow and see. I think early ones have the front and rear drains though as I can see tube holes facing the front of the car when I open my sunroof...

Hendrixvodu - Now that I think about it, when I replaced front speakers the tube drains were there.

I'll snap a few pictures for reference today. The drains go through the a-pillar and left to right/ right to left infront of the sunroof area , behind the sunroof mechanism.

A couple of the drain pipes (some are look to be copper pipes) were really close to the sheetmetal so I put some padding there, but it's something else that's making the noise.

I can't figure it out. I need to ask someone to drive my car while I sit in the passenger seat to pin-point it. It's not the dash or glove box, and I removed the a-pillar cover so that's not it either.

Here is what they look like on my car. There are black rubber tubes going down inside the a-pillars, picture came out too dark.

Those copper pipes are the sunroof cable tubes. The drain tubes are the black hoses that come from the holes in the 4 corners of your sunroof (looking from the outside/top with the sunroof open. They are usually too stiff to bounce around and make noise, but who knows...
