    I hate Pop Ups!!!!

Title says it all. Is there any effective free software out there or would my best bet to be to buy anti-popup software? I dont run Kaaza, but I do run WinMx. Does WinMx maybe cause some of this?

WinMX doesnt contain spyware of any sort, nor does it cause popups.

If you arent smart enough to go download a popup blocker program, and find a crack for it, then go buy one.

Get Popnot, and also get Ad-Aware to remove all spyware.

I asked if free ones were EFFECTIVE. I don't want to download something that doesn't do shit.

I use Netscape 7.1 (Fuck Bill Gates)
You can get it free, and it has a built-in Pop-up blocker! It works great, while stilling allowing the WTDR process bar and the You got PM window on here to open up!

I use the Google toolbar and it blocks popups really well. Glad I found it. Besides, its the best search engine I've ever used.

Pop-Up stopper free edition. My dad found it. If he can find it, anyone can.

                    what are popups?

Mozilla is the not-for-profit behind the lightning fast Firefox browser. We put people over profit to give everyone more power online.

mozilla on linux... I haven't seen a popup in years. You guys need to get with the times, and try mozilla or firebird, the new browser. Also, please ditch outlook express for mozilla mail or thunderbird. They are all available from mozilla.org.

Check it out, now, not later.

I tried that for a while, and it does work great, but I hated having one more thing at the top of my IE window.

Safari (comes with OS X) has a very effective built in pop-up blocker.

I have comcast digital cable, and i have adaware. I have yet to get a pop-up, except for ones that are website related (ie. if i visit attwireless, when i close the window, a "great deal" will pop-up), other than that, nothing.

My mom has AOL (screw them) in michigan, and she gets pop-ups about every 1o secs saying "click here to get rid of these pop-ups", what a slap in the face that is.

                              I say Google toolbar.

By far the best search engine, and by far the best pop-up blocker I have tried. :)
