    Lost my is lip

Yesterday after my rolling photoshoot I went to the mall. Driving home from the mall it was pouring down rain. I think the news said about one inch fell in one hour. This morning my brother asked where my is lip was, because he thought I had taken it off to paint it body color. I told him to shut up, and that it was still on the car. That's when I went outside and saw my car lipless. At first I thought someone stole the lip off of my car right from my driveway. Then we decided it probably fell off in the huge puddles that were on the road yesterday, so I decided to retrace my steps.
I knew that it was only raining hard on my way back from the mall, so I decided to drive back out towards the mall, make a u-turn, and drive slowly in the left lane heading backs towards home. After about one mile on my retun trip I see something standing straight up in the air, and as I get closer I see that it is obviously my is lip. Half of it was down in a sewer, and half was sticking up in the air. I put my flashers on and pulled into a u-turn lane and prepared for the worst. I pulled the is lip out of the sewer, and it was all in one piece! I couldn't believe it. It was probably run over by numerous cars and the cars only took some paint off. At least now I have a reason to paint it body color.

    Here it is:

where did you get your smoked turn signals? Also did you just use some SEM trim paint on the side markers?

I say repaint the lip black, but that is just me and my strange tastes.

I got the smoked turn signals from www.bekkers.com And the side markers are painted with some generic black paint.

You should leave it black. Looked perfect that way.

But that's just me. ( And it seems like I'm the only one )

No thanks, I repainted it today and it looks decent. I may get the expensive color matched paint from paintscratch.com, but I'll probably just leave it like this.

I could go either way, but I think I like the silver better.
