I was attempting to change out my rear shocks yesterday because they were fairly worn out. I jacked the car up and took the wheel off and all that jazz. Basically to make a long story short, the bolt that holds the shock to the hub got sheared off and i am left with nothing to get a hold of. I tried drilling it and using an easy out, but to no avail....Anyone have any suggestions on getting this God forsaken thing?

And that's probably what you want to do.. is replace the arm. -
weld a smaller bolt to the broken one and back it outYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

So it sheared flush with the trailing arm? Damn, that blows.
You could drill and heli-coil, they are plenty strong enough to be just fine forever.Comment
