    an E30 suspension story

I was attempting to change out my rear shocks yesterday because they were fairly worn out. I jacked the car up and took the wheel off and all that jazz. Basically to make a long story short, the bolt that holds the shock to the hub got sheared off and i am left with nothing to get a hold of. I tried drilling it and using an easy out, but to no avail....Anyone have any suggestions on getting this God forsaken thing?

weld a smaller bolt to the broken one and back it out

So it sheared flush with the trailing arm? Damn, that blows.

You could drill and heli-coil, they are plenty strong enough to be just fine forever.
