Where can I find the prices for a new is lip and repairing a tear in the leather on a seat? I'm buying a car from a guy and I want to be able to show him prices because he thinks his car is work more than it is. A lot of you guys know the story and I just want to be ready when the guy finally brings the car over.

New iS lip is $150+ from any dealer.
Fixing one section of leather on a seat (replacing it) would prolly cost around $200-250.Tenured Automotive Service Professional - Avid BMW Enthusiast

Sounds like you need a new mechanic.Originally posted by DarkWing6This guy has no idea what it is so what could I tell him that it "could" be that would be the most expensive?
a NEW si-board will run you 200+. I don't even want to know how much a new cluster is.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

This guy has been taking forever to get the car over so I could see it when he told me originally it would be no problem. And he thinks the car is worth more than it really is, so I want to be able to explain the offer I give him.Originally posted by bert...now that would be taking advantage of someone's
ignorance, wouldn't it?

so that board controls the function of all the idiot lights?
anyway to just pull one out of another cluster as a cheap
fix? if not, am i ready that pricing right that once i send back
a core, i've only invested about $115? not bad.
i've got a problem with a brake lining light that won't
turn off and i'd really like to keep my original cluster...
