    which m3 would you choose?

Given a choice with no monetary constraints, which m3 would you choose?

    from which series?
any specific model within the series?

I'm not sure what I'd want...

    -edit-
for the people that don't seem to understand...
No monetary constraints=enough money to buy ONE m3 of your choice and have enough money to perform any modifications that you desired.

It would be a tough choice between an e30 and an e46. It would probably come down to how much I have to spend on it afterwards.

            I'd take a 91 E30 M3 and and e46 M3 CSL.

If I only got to choose one, it would be the E30 M3.

            Cool thread.

              e30 without a doubt.

A few weeks ago I saw a gorgeous one with only 30k miles, it had 17" BBS wheels and the BMW motorsport rear spoiler and front splitter. Among the coolest cars I've ever seen, and I've seen a zillion Porsches, Ferraris, etc. It was just so outrageous looking, and I'm sure a blast to drive.

Depends on the situation. If it was my only car, e36. If I could hide it in a garage and drive it on nice days, e30. If I could afford to have someone else work on my cars, e46.

                      D) all of the above

However if my E36 had an S50b32 in it, I wouldn't have much desire for an E46.

Either an e30 m3 EVO, or the e92.
