You're going to sell it to the buyer you have for $1,300? Are they going fix it or part it?
Either way, its awesome you're getting that much for it.
They're going to keep it. Dude, I imagine it would sell for that "outside" the r3v-type circle easily. Not even considering I changed all kinds of shit on that car! (the whole front suspension including every bushing, rebuilt the P/S pump, rebuilt the steering rack, cylinder head done, timing belt, water pump, radiator, hoses etc)
fk! I actually want to keep it after all that. keep all that shit for my car.... but it had pretty much became my girl's car so now I am stuck.
You know, I've had a cop lecture me on evading an incident instead of slamming on my brakes. I told him this bastard cut me off, so I switched lanes to avoid him. And he goes, "Why didn't you just slow down?"
What?! Jesus christ, EXCUSE ME for seeing his move and making my move to avoid hitting him. What, I can't just go around people that f-ing cut me off, or may potentially hit me? It's a mentality like that that causes damn accidents.
Exhibit A: I was merging on to a road one night, one of those right turn lanes that is the continuous turn that you only yield for. looked, saw a car on the other side of the intersection with it's signal on, so I thought they were turning right. Look again right before going out and they're going thru the intersection - ok, I hit the brakes quick to avoid getting hit. What do they do? They're RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and slam on their brakes?! Now - PLEASE tell him - what damn good would that have done had I not stopped? I would ahve hit them, because they'd stop RIGHT in my path.
If I were them, I'd make an abrupt lane change assuming they wouldn't see me, and floor it!
Seriously. If only people would think more...I could go on for hours on this shit. So many drivers just close their eyes, remove their hands from the wheel, and slam on the brakes in an emergency situation - and that's just sooo damn stupid!
Right on on trying to avoid it! Hope everything turns out ok! :)

Exactly... if it weren't for many an avoidance moves, I would have been in numerous accidents already. And accidents that would have solely been the other party's fault. This may sound shitty but when in my little 94 Nissan PU I try to stay in the mindset of allowing them to happen but it never fails, 2nd nature kicks in and I always evade them.

Glad I'm not the only soul on Earth that does this. I mean, besides my Dad and my brother. I basically assume I'm invisible when on the road.
I hate tailgating people too - and I can't stand riding with someone that is closer than 1/2 car length to the car in front of them - the absolute best way to ask for an accident!
