Engine compartment: Black or body color?

I'm yanking the engine out of the 6er to rebuild it, and it occurred to me that the engine should be done far before I paint the car. I'm thinking maybe I'll put it back in once it's built to break it in and drive the car a bit before the final tear down this fall... So the question is should I paint the engine compartment a satin / glossy black or should I paint it what I believe will be the future body color? I am 99% sure that I will be painting the car Polaris silver, and it will be a comprehensive job including the door jambs, trunk, etc. Any thoughts?

Body color. A different colored engine bay, no matter what the color (even black), from the car, looks like a cheap respray where they didn't do a full color change.

M3 ryan and I were working on a 2002ti, and we painted the engine compartment black with truck bed liner stuff. It looked good - It was a budget project, so it was good for what it cost.
