    OH shit thats right its 15k miles for the urea no 5k (what the hell was I thinking last night) would like to get one of these for the little woman but we really need 4wd here in the winter an she hates the X5.


    That said I love my diesel in my truck, I will never own a gaser truck ever again, they are useless compared to a diesel.

      Jon325i, all BMW steptronics are that way minus the M cars.

      I have now driven both the diesel X5 and the 335d. I loved the motor in the X5; it honestly felt more like the V8 than anything else. It really launches well and has loads of torque. The 335d just felt wierd to me at first because the motor has so much torque and so little rpm, and I really wish it had a stick. Even with the auto, though, it feels quicker off the line than the 335i. In both vehicles, the engines sound very good for diesels, with only a little clatter at idle.
