    Personally, I think I'd prefer the latter. It's only going to appreciate in value, especially since Spiderman is going so mainstream now.

    I choose not to speculate that doesnt increase in a quantitative value. The problem with speculating is that you have to find someone who is willing to pay what you want and has the money when you are willing to sell.

    it would be peaking at the moment because of the popularity of spiderman, eventually people will stop caring about it again and only comic junkies would be in the market for it.

    Not to mention this comic book wouldnt get me back and forth to school/work.

                    comics book prices are very unstable. Ive got alot stored away, including 13 copies of "death of superman" last i check, it was 75 bucks each, back in late 90's.

                      The Amazing Spiderman Issue #1 has gone up in value steadily since it's publication date, with a slight leveling off in the mid 80's.
