they didn't seem to care since there was no BLOOD, DEATH or BANK ROBBERY. Cats in trees, disturbances, and dumbass drivers should use the number in front of the phone book. What if your mom got mugged at the same time you were tying up the lines with "yeah, i'd like to report a car driving the wrong way down rte 1 near the Vision Night Club" .

But wouldn't stopping a driver from driving down the street the wrong way prevent DEATH and BLOOD?

no DEATH and BLOOD are past tense If it has not happened they don't car.
ie. someone popped of 5-6 rounds in the neighborhood one night, then the next night someone shot one of our windows with a BB gun. took them over an hour to get there since we were not dead or bleeding.

One time at the beach, everything in my dad's truck was stolen. waited around for 2 hours, cops came, did a quick report, said Oh well we're never going to find your stuff.

3 weeks later, they catch the guy who robbed us, WHILE robbing another car. when they arrested him, they noticed that the bag he was putting all of the stuff he was stealing from the car, had my cousin's name on it.
He was using my cousin's stolen bag to throw stuff in while stealing more stuff. They let him go and wouldn't even give us the name. If they would have told me who the guy was, I would've done some street justice because he got off scott-free.

And that's not even 911.
One time there was a fire on the side of the road, I pulled over to call 911, and so did like 5 other people. They put us all on hold for 15 minutes, until a cop who happened to be driving by noticed it and stopped.

911 should not be putting people on hold.
