Nothign wrong with FRP. BMW just doesnt want to spend 60k on federalizing a niche car. Its why we never got the REAL cars.

Since the Z1 isnt the 3 series chassis it would have been crash tested and the like meaning BMW would have had to sacrafice many to the DOT.

No dents on a plastic car but you can get big fuckign cracks. This guy wanted to show how you cant dent his saturn and CRAACCCCKKK!
    Im now E30less.

lol.. yea I was wondering if anyone ever did that. But yea your right, I had a few cracks, and if you pushed the plastic too far, the paint would crack and look like a giant spider web. The flex agent doesnt do muct after a few years.

I love the Z1 just because it is unique. I like my cars to really stand out.

It's too bad BMW had to ruin such a beatiful car by putting an m20 engine in it.

Nothing someone can't change if they had the Z1 chassis on their hands

Same reason the 959 was never available in 1988 for sale in the US.

                    A few Z1s?

I'd love to see that given only 8000 were made and probably 3/4s dont even run anymore.
