AFR Guage - Where should I put it?

I have the XD-16 Guage from Innovate that goes with the Innovate LC-1 WBo2. I've gotta put it somewhere that will be visible, and not look ricey or out of place. The guage alone actually compliments the interior pretty nicely as far as not looking aftermarket is concerned.

I've seen it put in the center vent ala' Alpina guages, and that is my first choice I think.

    Does anyone have any products/locations/etc.?

Only place it cannot go is on the pillar as I already have gauges there (EGT, Oil pressure, water temp).

Give me some ideas guys - I'm going to need to do something pretty soon.

    TIA,
    Ted

I agree completely but does someone make a plate for the vent? I don't want to take all of the vents out, just one side like you say.

I will perform some DD for this soon, but I'm just curious if someone knows of the part already.

I also know that I did not spell GAUGE correctly in the title... that is all.

I have mine in an A pillar mount just because I need oil temp, oil pressure, boost and AFR and real estate is hard to find on e30s.

            Scroll down a little bit.

I bought the vent replacement and OBC panels from him. I don't need the center one yet, so I haven't installed it, but the quality and fitment is good.

That's what I was thinking but I only need 1, not the whole thing removed. If memory serves, the side vents are different than the center ones

I'm impressed that you were concerned enough to make a correction.

you know, an AFR gauge is pretty much useless for tuning - datalogging is where it's at. gauges are more for show than anything.

You datalog off of the XD-16, bro - the "out" for the logging comes out of the unit. Do you have a WBo2?

                        Blunt is correct.

yes, I do have a WB02, the same one you have. I was just commenting that the gauge face itself is pretty secondary.

scroll down a bit more, there is a single one for the left drivers vent.

                              I like this idea.

If you cut the vent so the gauge fit properly it would look better.
