        Hey Guys,
Glad to hear you're OK. Can you post some pictures of your car, it looks really nice.
I have a black 91 325i and have ordered then Ronal LS wheels too. I would like to see how it would look.
BTW RBBJ325is, they were $140CDN each, I thought that was a good deal.
Oh, RC if you do decide to part out your car I am looking for a complete interior ;-)
        1990 325i - sold
        1996 Audi A4 Quattro - winter car
        1987 325e - only 135,000km !!

This has definitely been a tough time for Bobby. The entire situation has upset me also, since (and I think Bobby hates when I mention this-lol) his car was previously mine and I put a LOT of money and effort to get it to a nice level. Bobby was just starting to further improve upon it and give the car his 'signature' when all of this happened.

The first time I drove to his house to see it after the accident tears came to my eyes. No, the damage it not awful-a quick glance shows that the rear bumper cover, rear taillight panel, trunk lid, lip spoiler, all rear lights, and very possibly the right rear quarter panel will have to be replaced. Obviously the rear quarter panel replacement would be the real killer in all of this, but even though it has 198k miles it would be a shame to just part this car out. It does not want to die, and Bobby and I will not let it!

In the end, it is possible a lot of good will come out of this. To be honest, the car has a number of dings and scratches that really need to be taken care of. It is possible that now a full respray can be done and the dings can be removed without too much additional cost. The plan is for Bobby and I to strip as much of the car as possible so that we can save some labor costs at the body shop. I also have enough base and clear to paint the entire car, so that cost is saved. I just so happen to have a spare trunk lid that we can use, so there is a few more bucks. We can take care of the busted rear bumper cover by putting on the M-Technic 2 rear apron that has been sitting around my house for a year-but then we get into putting the entire kit on-hmmmm.......

Just remember Bobby-we will rebuild it. It will be stronger, better, and faster. It is just a matter of time. BTW-if any of you out there have some of the replacement parts that might be needed in the rebuild, let us know. Every little bit helps!
