    Coilover setup, whatcha got?

Looking into doing a coil over setup, just wondering what you are running if you have them. My car currently has H&R Race springs and I like the ride of them I would just like the car to sit a little lower in the front and be able to adjust to the exact height I desire and still have the ride quality of the springs i'm on now.

GC street/track school coilover kit with Koni SA's and Eibach adjustable sways.

I think its a pretty good setup for a mostly street car. If and when I ever get serious about auto-X I'll probably look at AST's or TC Klines.

H&R RSS, however for a street only car, I'd get the standard H&R coilover set.

So would the standard set be the H&R Street Performance kit? I checked the website and that kit is available for the E30 but the PCS kit is N/A for the E30.

That's the one. The PCS is the adjustable dampener, RSS has higher spring/dampener rates (weekend track car is the theory)

Anybody got a link to someones detailed coilover setup. I want to do a GC setup on the 318 with billie sports but I want to check someone elses out first before I go cutting my strut tubes apart.

                      Koni S/A's
                      GC 325/475
GC camber plates for more suspension travel with GC coilovers
                      Ireland Engineering RSM's

Stock control arms, bushings, trailing arms and subframe bushings, all replaced.

I am currently going to be getting new rates and Koni S/A's to match the rates...525F/650R on a street car or something close to that...

The rates I have now are very optimal for serious daily driving though, very comfortable yet firm with Koni's on full soft.

EDIT: Jesse is your setup harsh on you at all?

nah, its not all that bad. even with the 25/22 sways and konis on full stiff.

Do they make the RSS for the regular e30? I read that it says "fits m3 only". Whats the difference between e30 m3 and regular mounting points?
