They weren't really going that fast, about 45. The car was coming in another direction I want to say at about 20 mph. The impact sent them flying over a curb, where they actually got about a foot of air, then slammed into a bus stop and a tree. The car was just pummeled from all sides. On the passenger side, where you see the nice cylindrical imprint, bent the frame about 1.5' inward.

Well, my other brother was driving behind them and saw it all happen.

Everyone is ok, but the big imprint of a tree in the passenger side hit my brother's leg and only bruised it badly. Shows what seat belts and airbags can do.

Geez, yeah. Lucky the car wasn't another two feet forward or the tree two feet back from where it was or it would have been a lot more critical.

No that is a PSO car. A public service opperator, they do things like car accidents, give tickets for housing violations like too many cars, things like that. They dont carry guns, and can not arrest, or give you a ticket for speeding or anything.

I looked carefully, it seems to have the same markings but obviously not a red/blue light bar.

of course i am... that is one fucked maxima. im just suprised everyone was able to walk away from that unharmed.

make sure all your buddies get checked out really well though. i had a little fender bender back in 04 and my lower back has never been the same. and i didn't get properly checked out at the time so i have to pay out of pocket to get it treated/corrected. (yes, it is still fucked up because i can't afford to go out of pocket)

My brother with the busted up leg went to the hospital and is going to the doctor to check it out further. And Dade county drivers are the worse.
