    Any suggestions???

I am having the following done during the next month down in Austin. Is there anything else that would be suggested or that need to be done that would not be that expensive (While swap is ongoing, etc). My budget is running dry :)

S52 swap with ZF tranny 50k miles on it. They are going to replace gaskets/h20 pump, belts, cutch while engine is out and any sensor that needs changing. Also doing the 5 speed swap for pedals, etc. Stainless lines, etc going in. -also new driveshaft bearings, etc going in.
    IE III springs and Koni's
    Strut bar
    IE sway bushings

Just replaced control arms, etc and rear looks ok.
Also, still has the 4.1 diff in her. Will this be ok or do I need to get that done also. Car is a 89 325i auto that I have had since new. Going to be my new daily driver now and I want a diff to keep the rpm lower at crusing speed for gas. I am not racing, etc.

I still have original wheels and want to get a new set, but that may wait a few months. Is there anything that I am missing?

    thanks!

3.25lsd with that ZF or if you want to go fast a 3.46 or 3.73 will cut down on mileage but be a lot more fun :D

Thats too high for highway driving. Most use the 3.25 from e28 535s and such.

Is there anyway to tell for sure what ratio is in her now? Is there a certain one for an automatic 89 325i? I thought I have read in the past that autos had 4.1.

There's a tag on the diff. As you're looking at it from the rear it's the right side just behind the output shaft kind of in the middle.

Also make sure it is limited slip. This is noted by an S before the ratio on the tag. The case may also have large S's stamped on it.

                    +1 on the 3.25lsd.

My buddy has his car swapped with the s52 and he had the 4.10lsd. He hated it. The 3.25lsd makes much more sense in the long run.
