Anyone know how to intsall new Hood

Hey, as some know I'm looking to buy a new hood for my e30 and I dont want to pay for maintenance on installing it, so I was wondering if anyone has done it before and could tell me step by step the process and if it is a lot of trouble. Thanks alot!

Remember to disconnect the hood shock and the windshield washer tube - oh and the ground strap.

Oh and before you do any of that - RTFM.

Just pop it you will see how it is attached, take it apart and then do the opposite with the new hood.

Much easier if you get a second set of hands to help out too...

Rust prevention IIRC. That and if you install a battery that is too tall under the hood of some cars, it makes a nice spark/light show.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

                              Go buy this: http://www.amazon.com/BMW-E30-Servic...9625415&sr=8-2

And come back after you've read the whole thing. This type of question will NOT get a serious answer. Taking off the hood is probably one of the easiest things EVER to do. JUST LOOK. If you have ANY common sense whatsoever, you'll figure it out.

                              K...thxbye
