        many things on ebay are crap, I sw this one trying to sell assorted make keys. What use would a key that is alredy cut and many have security chips in them.

          that would be for an E36..i say that because my mom has that same key for her 97 328i. :)

            And would it be an already cut e36 key? so you buy it & try it in every e36 you see until the law of probability works out?

              that MTF will abuse unsuspecting people they don't know much of technics 'cause the key had 2 flat sides

              btw its the same key as my E34 spare key

                  E36 surely have different combinations. E30/E28s suck. I have a set of 8 e30/e28 used cut keys that will open/start EVERY BMW e30/e28 I have run into.Try it yourself.i dont condone the use of them to rip people off though.

                    i havent found this to be true... my key wont start my ex girlfriends 325e and vise versa... also my key wont start my friends e30m3 and vise versa... however im sure if you cut the key a certain way it would work like you say almost like a master key
