I've heard something about cam seals and the timing belt being a good time to do those...is that right? Anything else?

Yeah yeah...this was the best way for me to reach just the NE guys. Besides, if I remember correctly, you said I should just "pay to have it done..." right? slacker. :)

Well, I didn't take as many pics as I thought. Almost all of them were of Greg's engine bay.
Here is the only one worth posting:

You could do your cap and rotor as well. They have to come off anywhere to the timing belt off (this could be BS, I did it so long ago I cant really remember right now). Oh yeah, and dont forget the gaskets (water pump for one).

Thanks Will, I'll see if I can't grab those too. Also, something about the camshaft seal...Joel over at the Euro Depot recommended it as well, and a camshaft o-ring. Are these easy to change, Greg and co? They're peanuts (under 10 bucks...)

Pump comes with one. Coolant any belts need by engine since it will be clear area on reassembly.

Who's planning on attending? I need to know as we will be doing the auto skills shop on Hanscom AFB at the exit for Minute Man National Park. Meet at base gate at 0745 am. Hobby shop opens at 8am and fills fast first come first served.

I just bought a brand new alt belt, I don't have PS, and I don't use my AC. So that's all set.

I'll definitely be there, just tell me when you want me there, and where on the base (or nearby) you'd like to meet.

It requires a press. They have one but it's not the best unit around.

Your call...I can always save myself 10 bucks and worry about it on my stroker rebuild this winter.

Nope can't do that to Jared. He emailed me, his life is quite hectic these days. And he's not a kid he's almost in 30's now. I'm sure he won't like me saying that.

Chapel if I mss spoke your age "sorry"

Been about 3 years since I have done an M20 so I'll be syudying the manual tonight and will bring it with me for referance.

Haha, I was playing...I kid, I kid. :) I suppose "kid" doesn't work for someone almost 30...being 23 I don't think I can even call myself a kid. Where is he from? Maybe I'm close by and can drop them off or something? I don't mind, and I have boatloads of time off.

A little rusty on M20's now that you've got that M50 huh? I'm sure it'll all come back to you. I'll have my bentley of course, and I've got a haynes for s&g's.
